You can disapprove of sin without being a hateful destroyer......there is NO compromise in that statement. Rev. D. Todd sloggett
The idea that as soon as we finally get that lost person to come to church, sit through a sermon, come to the altar, break down, repent and pray through, THEN we can sit back and breath a sigh of relief and get ready to go out and get another one...is absurd. 99.99% of all of the churches efforts made for that soul will come AFTER the altar. There are calls to make, visits to have, late nights, long talk, early mornings, trips to the doctor, discussions on doctrine, pizza to buy, children to hold, funerals to attend, salads to make, lawns to mow, arguments to resolve, hands to shake and necks to hug, for days, weeks, months, years and decades to come. From an altar of repentanace the churches job in a converts life is not finalized...it merely has begun!!! Rev. D. Todd Sloggett
