I heard a story on Fox News this morning about a lezbian couple that had adopted a son. Thier son was 11 years old and they were now giving him estrogen. Female hormones! They said that they were giving it to him because he "Tommy" thought that he was a girl "Tammy". They wanted to stunt the process of his puberty until he could decide for himself if he wanted to be a boy or a girl. You have got to be kidding me!!
There could be a huge argument here for the mental health of a child being adopted and raised in such an environment but that is not my topic here. My topic is merely this. This case shows once again the hypocrisy of the anti-Christian bias and phobia in America today.
The Fox News personalities that reported the story did thier best to tip toe around anything controversial about the subject. Of course they did! For fear of the law suit happy, ACLU, liberals and the rest of the press that fills thier bully pulpits with bias all day long.
Now, let us say that instead of two lezbians giving estrogen (which happens to be an extremely dangerous thing to do according to almost every expert that can be found) we have two radical Christians telling thier children that they cannot take any medicine what so ever because it is part of thier religion. Oh my goodness! Every lawyer, Civil rights group, liberal think tank, etc. in the nation would be jumping up and down on all the networks...do you see my point.
What about when Warren Jeffs is marrying 12 years old girls in the name of their belief system. Oh yes, he was arrested, prosecuted, denounced and imprisoned. Why? The argument was made that he was forcing, indoctrinating and endangering these children.
But the lezbians arugue that they are only following the wishes of little Tommy/Tammy. They say that he has told them that he was a girl since he was three years old. Once again....are you kidding me? Since when do we put a childs life in danger because he says that is what he wants!! Hello, is any body home? Does anybody remeber the case in Idaho where the boy was taken from his parents becuase they wouldn't provide the medicine that he needed? The boy, I think about 15 at the time, said that he didn't want the medicine because he believed that God would punish him for taking it. Do you remember all of the little girls taken at the Warren Jeffs compound. Every night, every news channel told the stories of the handful of girls that spoke out against the system that they had lived under, but months later we also heard of the dozens and dozens of girls that said that they believed that they were supposed to do it the way that they had been doing it.
I am not condoaning any of these three activities. But the press, the politicians, the intilectuals of our society are bashing two of them and then tip toeing around the other one. Why?
If it's wrong to withold vital meds from a child becuase it will endanger that child, and it is wrong; if it's wrong to have 12 years olds marrying idiot cult leaders for sexual purposes because it will endanger them, and it is wrong, then why isn't it wrong to give children hormones that will endanger them??? Because we are afraid? Afraid of what? Peer pressure, political correctness, what? We have a bunch of yellow bellied, spineless, lost, money, fortune and fame hungry, political hack, hypocritical, wimps making all the noise in this country and most of them could't tell you which coast Rhode Island was on, who the second president of the Uniteed States was or what 6 times 6 is. And these are the people that we are supposed to be listening to. Please, if you are so compassionate and so considerate and you care so much about peoples feelings, then why aren't you standing up for the physical, mental and emotional mutilation of Tommy/Tammy!?
The answer is simple, if any jerk out there is doing something that is inappropriate with children, as long as we can link him to some form of Christianity, he can be easily taken out...but, if said jerk is doing the same type of inappropriateness with children, and we can link him with some form of liberal progressive lifestyle then we have to side step him as best we can. HOG WASH!!! What about the life of the child! That is what we cried in Idaho, that is why we went along with the Warren Jeffs deal. Well if we don't do something about the life of the child this time then it only proves blatent hypocrisy and national cowardice. (My humble opinion)
